摘要: An electrophysiological study of sinus node function, including measurements resting heart rate, maximal corrected recovery time and sinoatrial conduction time, was performed in 30 patients, 12-79 years age, without any clinical, electrocardiographic or evidence disease. To analyse autonomic influences, variables were measured before after sympathetic parasympathetic blockade. No significant correlations observed between age function at the control In contrast, parameters intrinsic activity correlated with showed a progressive lengthening mean cycle length, time. addition, vagolysis suggest decrease increasing age. These data also indicate that respective role two components nervous system vary age: predominates younger subjects; tones are equilibrated older subjects. The normal represents an system: parallel ageing properties node, decreases so basal remain stable throughout life.
