摘要: Optogenetics is a promising neuronal modulation strategy in neuroscience, which enables real-time neuromodulation free-moving animals with high spatiotemporal control. However, it still suffers from several disadvantages, including low penetration of excitation light and the invasiveness insertion delivery system. The incorporation nanomaterials different properties into optogenetics may bring new opportunities to solve problems encountered optogenetics, delivery/expression optogene stimulation/inhibition follow-up sensing neural activity. challenges nanomaterial-mediated are also discussed. This review elaborates on feasibility incorporating analyzes benefits optogenetics.
