摘要: We have discovered that growth hormones form ternary complexes with their receptors in which site 1 on the hormone first binds to one molecule of receptor and then 2 another receptor, thereby producing a 1:2 complex. believe this phenomenon is shared by other ligands having similar conformational structure. Assays based are useful for identifying ligand agonists antagonists. Sites structurally identified facilitate generation amino acid sequence variants complex-forming ligands. Novel hormone, prolactin placental lactogen related provided. As result our studies complex we determined selected antibodies these capable acting as or novel uses anti-growth described.
