The Measurement of Information Systems Effectiveness: Evaluating a Measuring Instrument.

摘要: Information system effectiveness is an important phenomenon for both researchers and practitioners. Despite widespread interest, the importance of uses, there have been no efforts to validate Computerworld's Premier 100 rankings information effectiveness. This paper uses structural equation modeling in attempt measuring instrument used derive Computerworld rankings.Alternative models are proposed. Using a reflective model, findings raise doubts as reliability rankings, content validity construct also suspect. The problematic because multiple indicators same must be homogeneous it make sense combine them into composite index. A solution this problem represent multidimensional construct, that part causal model. Based on previous research area, suggestions offered improve instrument.
