摘要: Abstract Cellular biomarkers of exposure and biological effects were measured in hepatocytes turbot exposed to either Cd, Cu or Zn at concentrations 1 10 mg/l seawater for 7 days after depuration 14 days. Metal content hepatocyte lysosomes was determined by image analysis autometallography (AMG) as volume density autometallographed black silver deposits (VvBSD). Metallothionein (MT) levels quantified on liver sections microdensitometry immunohistochemical staining with a polyclonal anti cod-MT antibody (MT-OD), the cytosolic fraction difference pulse polarography (MT-DPP). Lysosomal structural changes (lysosomal volume, surface numerical densities—VvLYS, SvLYS N v LY S − , surface-to-volume ratio S/VLys) demonstration β-glucuronidase activity cryotome sections. Vacuolisation produced metal-exposure stereology vacuoles (VvVAC). Exposure time metal significantly affected VvBSD lysosomes, MT degree vacuolisation 1 h day three metals. The highest VvBSD, VvVAC values recorded all cases. MT-OD MT-DPP correlated VvBSD. VvLYS increased returned control exception those turbots that had been 10 mg Cd/l. Alike, Svlys (Cu exposure) NvLYS (Cd exposures) depuration. It has therefore demonstrated used are reversible return towards once ceases. Overall, it is concluded MT-levels lysosomal responses valuable assess its turbot, although quantitative terms biomarker response varied between
