摘要: Abstract In anaesthetized rats, the influence of an acute inflammation (2–8 h duration) gastrocnemius-soleus (GS) muscle on excitability dorsal horn neurones was studied using a mapping procedure. One main effects myositis that neurone population responding to GS A-fibre input increased in size. The increase most marked lateral segments L6-L3 which received little from control animals. Excitability testing showed myositis-induced lowering threshold, combined with latency, jitter and convergence. This suggests new oligo- or polysynaptic connections become functional under myositis. Neuronal induced by C fibres nerves were not significantly altered myositis, but fibre-induced activations peroneal sural horn. results show leads changes connectivity within few hours. took place horn, where many acquired muscle. mechanism may be involved spread referral pain.
