Enhanced photovoltaic properties of dye-sensitized solar cell based on ultrathin 2D TiO2 nanostructures

摘要: Abstract Ultrathin two-dimensional (2D) TiO2 nanostructures with a thickness of ∼5 nm and specific surface area 257.3 m2 g−1 were synthesized by hydrothermal process. The 2D P25 nanoparticles introduced as scattering layer underlayer to construct bi-layer photoanode in dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). as-prepared DSSC exhibits an enhanced power conversion efficiency (5.14%), which is 23.9% higher than that pure (4.15%). Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) indicates based on P25-2D shows longer life time larger recombination resistance. photovoltaic properties are attributed the excellent light capability high capacity for dye adsorption nanostructures, makes them promising candidate efficient high-performance DSSCs.
