摘要: In developing countries, the urbanisation process occurs with empirical urban management, a high increase of impermeable areas, and lack connection between water resource management planning. Brazil, concentrated rainfall ineffective drainage systems add to this context may impact population flash floods. Although sustainable (SuDS) are widely used for flood mitigation, it is still not very well known how those strategies behave in semi-arid regions, where most time weather dry. mitigation mostly involves structural measures such as larger pipes or channels, limited guidance SuDS use due great resistance change by citizens managers. This study sought analyse efficacy Campina Grande, region Brazil. A land-use legislation-based methodology was developed physical, climate, hydrological governance data three catchments 312 sub-catchments 30 applications simulations. Simulations suggest that these would be appropriate reductions flooded area, flooding volume, impacts. relevance cities similar climate reach level services, supporting integration planning resources management.
