摘要: Abstract An algorithm is presented for simultaneous optimization of geometry and topology a regular plane truss with uniform cross-sectional area. Difficulties arising from singularity discontinuity in eliminating unnecessary members nodes the ground structure are discussed detail by using cantilever-type truss. Note that problem becomes more complicated limiting feasible designs to trusses areas. In proposed method, pin-jointed first modeled as rigidly jointed frame.
