摘要: Hematological and blood chemical values were determined for wild captive mallards, Anas p. platyrhynchos, the late spring period prior to remige moult through early fall migration. Hemoglobin, packed cell volume, erythrocyte total leukocyte counts, as well number of heterophils lymphocytes, declined significantly during after compared recorded moult. During migration mallard drakes had elevated levels glucose uric acid. No significant changes observed in protein, alkaline phosphatase, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase or creatine phosphokinase pre- post-moult periods. The hematological biochemical should prove useful providing background information on drakes, documenting baseline data intra interspecies comparisons with diseased birds.
