摘要: The prevalence of ocular surface immunopathologies is enhanced in the elderly. This increased has been attributed to age-related dysregulation innate and adaptive immune system responses. Age-related changes immunity have similar distinct characteristics those seen other mucosal tissues. mini review provides a brief outline key findings field ageing, draws comparisons with tissues and, finally, discusses context immunopathogenesis infectious keratitis dry eye disease, two most common inflammatory disorders surface.
