摘要: Previous research on the environment of island and coastal areas has demonstrated that erosion substantially affects archaeological site preservation can lead to loss important information regarding past trade maritime activities. These same at risk loci are central much current focus networks connectivity. In practical theoretical terms, this places significant stresses local governments archaeologists, who trying monitor rapidly deteriorating cultural heritage rescue vital future research. Beyond ad hoc observations, rigorous methods quantify such issues have rarely been developed in archaeology Eastern Mediterranean, including Cyprus. paper we demonstrate an integrative method, which employs historic aerial photographs laser scanning illustrate, coastline change its impact since industrialisation south-central coast mid-20th century CE.
