摘要: In this work, we used oleosome data to estimate the variability in eight J. curcas populations of Southern Mexico, using a multivariate approach. We found spherical oleosomes with diameters between 2.18 μm and 4.15 μm, which have two types spatial arrangements: clustered dispersed. A discriminant analysis showed that more differentiation are Oaxaca Veracruz, while Isthmus was most diverse. The informative variables for their contribution functions were size number oleosomes·μL tissue −1 . heritability study seeds harvested consecutive years per cell high broad sense heritabilities (h 2 bs =94.3% h =92.2%, respectively). cluster revealed levels dissimilarity individuals. Correlation ratio oleosomes/tissue (volume/volume) total oil content seed. identification genotypes contrasting characteristics could provide basis future studies inheritance characters
