摘要: Field experiment was carried out at Enshas Experiment Station; Jatropha transplanted and treated after the second year of transplanting by different amounts water stress, viz. 125%, 100%, 75% 50% potential evapotranspiration (ETp). The study aims to ensure multiple benefits its suitability under Egypt's climate in unused lands scarce conditions. results revealed that average consumption rate is 6 L week(-1) throughout growing season, which means can survive produce full yield with high quality seeds minimum requirements compared other crops. extracted oil 28.69, 58.39, 30.17 22.15 kg ha(-1) ETp, respectively. lowest values total lipid (oil) (25% 24.5% seeds) were recorded trees irrigated 125% On hand, treatment 100% ETp (control) highest value (29.93%). also there are no significant differences among determined characteristics due stress ratios. From results, it could be concluded seed ETp. In addition had effect on fatty acid composition oil. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
