Experimental characterization of amorphous structures in metals and ceramics by pulsed neutron scattering

摘要: Neutron scattering experiments using accelerator pulsed neutron sources are demonstrated to be quite advantageous for obtaing detailed informations of the atomic-scale structure metallic alloy and oxide glasses. Discussion is focused on distinctive behaviors polyhedral units forming amorphous solids.
