摘要: Calcifying nested stromal-epithelial tumor is a rare entity that has gone by variety of names in the literature: ossifying malignant mixed epithelial and stromal tumor, desmoplastic spindle cell liver. To our knowledge, approximately 38 cases have been reported literature. The histogenesis still largely unknown but histopathologically characterized nests epithelioid cells an organoid arrangement surrounded prominent dense myofibroblastic stroma with occasional psammomatous calcification focal heterotopic ossification. Vascular invasion tumoral recurrence uncommon only single case metastasis leading to death. Treatment mainly surgical intervention role chemotherapy seeming limited, lack data hinders true recommendation. It important rule out other processes such as hepatoblastoma, calcified hemangioma, synovial sarcoma, metastatic gastrointestinal small round among others, which appear similar radiographically histopathologically.
