摘要: Laboratoire Ondes et Milieux Complexes (LOMC), FRE3102, CNRS-Universite´du Havre, 53 rue Prony, PO Box 540, 76058 Le FranceExperiments in extended systems, such as the counter-rotating Couette–Taylor flow orthe Taylor–Dean system, have shown that patterns with vanishing amplitude mayexhibit periodic spatio-temporal defects for some range of control parameters. Theseobservations could not be interpreted by complex Ginzburg–Landau equation(CGLE) boundary conditions. We investigated one-dimensionalCGLE homogeneous found that, ‘Benjamin–Feirstable’ region, basic wave train bifurcates to state spatio-temporaldefects. The numerical results match observations quite well. built a newstate diagram parameter plane spanned criticality (or equivalently thelinear group velocity) and nonlinear frequency detuning.
