摘要: Members of the NF-kappa B/Rel family transcription factors are involved in many aspects B lymphocyte development and function. is constitutively active these cells, contrast with most other cell types. In inactive form, proteins sequestered cytoplasm by members I kappa inhibitors. When activated, translocated to nucleus, a process that involves phosphorylation proteasomal degradation proteins. Thus, activation accompanied rapid turnover We show while this "classical" mode uniform feature IgM+ lines, all IgG+ cells analyzed contain nuclear yet have stable alpha, beta, epsilon. Furthermore, beta epsilon levels at least 10 times lower than an additional indication regulation constitutive activity two types fundamentally different. These data imply existence novel mechanism operates independently degradation. They further suggest different isoforms receptor may distinct roles regulating activity.
