摘要: The aftermath of war-related trauma may entail psychological devastation and is typically accompanied by various deleterious phenomena. These include, but are not limited to, high rates loneliness. However, also result in positive outcomes such as personal, spiritual, relational prosperity, which considered under the conceptual framework post-traumatic growth (PTG). PTG theoretically contribute to either loneliness amelioration (e.g., via increasing one's appreciation close relationships) or exacerbation sense undergoing experiences that others do share). Filling this gap, current study examined aforementioned potentialities utilizing an autoregressive cross-lagged modeling strategy (ARCL) with a cohort 260 Israeli combat veterans assessed 30, 35, 42 years after their participation 1973 Yom Kippur War. Results indicated higher were consistently related both cross-sectionally longitudinally. did longitudinally predict rates. It suggested these findings understood light observation veterans' primarily experience being experientially out sync people who endured war experiences. experiential include only ramifications traumas (i.e., PTG). We, therefore, argue while authentic transformations it more ramifications, should identified addressed researchers clinicians alike. Thus, limitations acknowledged, clinical implications, future research directions suggested.
