Hormone Therapy and Factors Affecting Fertility of Women Under 50-Year-Old with Breast Cancer

摘要: Background Although the use of contraceptive hormones is a risk factor for development breast cancer, level unknown; thus current research was conducted to investigate effect factors related fertility and hormone on cancer in women aged under 50 years old west Iran. Methods In this case-control study, all incidence cases between 25-49 (n=212) were selected. Twice as many case group, individuals referred other outpatient sections same hospital at time study up 2 after follow-up not diagnosed with or cancers selected control group. The data collected using healthy program middle-aged periodical care forms developed by Iran's Ministry Health (MOH). Results After controlling confounding variables, history hormonal contraception (OR=2.02, 95% CI=1.2-3.3) therapies (OR=1.9, CI=1.2-3.04) identified increasing cancer. Dose-response relationships therapy indicated that these increased found be higher who had been more than 120 months. With an increase age first menstruation, linearly, but pregnancy, exponentially. 20 age, steeper slope. Conclusion Considering changeability listed factors, researchers suggest planning sensitizing, awareness, educating professionals regarding influence including pregnancy lower ages, minimizing contraception, therapy.
