摘要: Aims and Objectives: To evaluate the role of dental radiograph as a screening tool for diagnosis osteoporosis in females. Materials Methods: In present study, 50 women between age group 40-60 were recruited, patients with systemic disorder taking calcium supplements, who are not willing investigation excluded. Their detailed medical history was obtained radiographs made, bone mineral density measured at left radial using ultrasound. The subjected to image analysis method manual tracing gonial angle, antegonial depth, index, mental index mandibular cortical index. Statistical discrimination applied predict presence osteoporosis. With use these indices, sensitivity specificity orthopantomograph (OPG) assess age-related changes compared. Radiomorphometric indices (RMI) also scrutinized depict each prediction Results: Study results showed no significant differences (BMD) radiomorphometric diagnoses osteoporotic Out 29, diagnosed by 23 confirmed BMD six osteopenic. Among used, AGA AGD more reproducible results. Conclusion: our study results, we come an arrival that OPG show overall 0.75 or 75% 0.81 81% osteoporosis, anti angle (AGA) depth (AGD) most reliable indices. Hence, conclude panoramic-based RMI can be used ancillary
