摘要: Abstract In the study of carotid arteries, computed tomography angiography (CTA) allows to analyze, other than luminal narrowing, plaque, wall, as well surrounding structures. Moreover by using CTA it is possible have three-dimensional information with high spatial resolution. This chapter will detail role for assessment cardiovascular ­pathology an emphasis on detection, analysis and characterization atherosclerosis.
