摘要: The aim of the study was to make an international comparison blood levels cadmium (B-Cd), lead (B-Pb) and mercury (B-Hg) women in seven European, three non-European cities, identify determinants. About 50 (age: 46-62) from each city were recruited (totally 480) 2006-2009. Interview questionnaire data obtained. Blood samples analysed one laboratory avoid interlaboratory variation. Between European B-Pb B-Cd results vary little (range geometric means: 13.5-27.0 mu g/l 0.25-0.65 g/l, respectively); variation B-Hg larger (0.40-1.38 g/l). cities for B-Pb, 19.2-68.0, 0.39-0.99 1.01-2.73 respectively. Smoking a statistically significant determinant B-Cd, while fish shellfish intakes contributed amalgam fillings also B-Hg. present confirm previous children; exposure varies only between different suggesting that other factors than living area are more important. confirms findings higher some cities. geographical is significant.
