摘要: This paper summarizes some recent reports on mercury release from amalgam fillings and resulting concentrations in biological fluids, development of antibiotic resistance, kidney function. In a series studies subjects with fillings, (Hg) levels were followed saliva, feces, blood, plasma, urine before until 60 d after removal all the fillings. The Hg saliva remained elevated for at least 1 wk, suggesting that dissolved vapor is not major source mixed saliva. An absorption phase was seen plasma during 24 h removal. After concentration reduced to 40%, baseline level. decrease per surface 0.11 nmol/l (range 0.02 0.40). level feces increased two orders magnitude days At day 60, median still slightly higher than value free control group. resistance patterns oral intestinal microflora these also studied. microflora, relative amount microorganisms resistant 50 microM HgCl2 peaked 7 sample 6.1%, compared 1.3% samples collected prior exposure. However, no statistical differences pattern detected between experimental groups. A number sensitive function parameters measured wk 1, 2, No effects various studied recorded. According conclusions independent evaluations different state health agencies, dental does present any non-acceptable risk general population.
