摘要: Four new benzophenones with two isoprenoid groups, cudraphenones A-D (1-4), and three xanthones also units, cudraxanthones P-R (5-7), were isolated from the roots of Cudrania cochinchinensis, together 19 known phenolic compounds. The structures compounds elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Some exhibited weak cytotoxicity against human oral squamous carcinoma cells (HSC-8) normal gingival fibroblasts (HGF). Among them, 1-4 showed more potent cytotoxic activities HSC-2 than HGF cells. On other hand, bearing groups much lower tumor specificity as compared benzophenones, except for geronthxanthone H isoalvaxanthone. presence sets hydrophobic hydrophilic in separate domains each molecule might play a role mediation tumor-specific action.
