摘要: Abstract Twist1 is a transcription factor that involved in epithelial–mesenchymal transition by suppressing intercellular adhesion. In this study, we aimed to determine the role of regulation claudin-4 expression and investigate its specific mechanisms clinical implications using human esophageal carcinoma cell lines tissues. As result, up-regulation decreased both gene protein levels endogenous suppression was mediated direct binding canonical E-box promoter region claudin-4. addition, there significant inverse correlation with cancer High low associated poorest prognosis more highly correlated adverse outcome than any other subgroup statistical significance (p = 0.001). Our results indicate induces repression during carcinoma.
