摘要: Abstract The response of activated sludge to the presence 2,4-dichlorophenol (dCP) was investigated in this study. At 1–20 mg/l, dCP slightly reduced specific oxygen uptake rate sludge. yield decreased with an increase concentration, and its hydrophobicity also changed. at 5 mg/l or lower did not change diameter distribution flocs. However, most floc increased higher than 5 mg/l. Energy uncoupling inhibition analysis demonstrate that reduction levels mainly attributed inhibitory effect on microbial growth, while dCP, caused by substrate degradation.
