摘要: Abstract We investigate how often replication studies are published in empirical economics and what types of journal articles replicated. find that between 1974 2014 0.1% publications the top 50 journals were studies. consider results formal (whether they negating or reinforcing) their extent: Narrow typically devoted to mere prior work, while scientific provide a broader analysis. evidence higher-impact by authors from leading institutions more likely be replicated, whereas probability is lower for appeared 5 journals. Our analysis also suggests mandatory data disclosure policies may have positive effect on incidence replication.
