Evaluation of the Figure of Merit on Thermoelectric Materials by Harman Method

摘要: The figure of merit ZT thermoelectric materials has been evaluated by the Harman method in temperature region below room temperature. In this only resistance measurements both dc and ac methods are required to obtain values. is given ZT=(Rdc/Rac-1)/x, where Rdc, Rac x value rate heat bath, respectively. effect experimentally confirmed be negligibly small we can use x=1 which corresponds a sufficient adiabatic condition.
