摘要: This review aims to present recent advances in the synthesis and structure characterization as well properties of polymer layered silicate nanocomposites. The advent nanocomposites has revolutionized research into composite materials. Nanocomposites are organic-inorganic hybrid materials which at least one dimension filler is less than 100 nm. A number routes have been developed years prepare these materials, include intercalation polymers or pre-polymers from solution, in-situ polymerization, melt etc. where platelets can be dispersed nanometer scale owing specific surface modifications, exhibit significant improvement properties, enhanced mechanical strength, gas barrier, thermal stability, flame retardancy Only a small amount generally required for enhancement helps retain transparency low density.
