Multiband Theory of Inelastic Neutron Scattering by Ferromagnetic Metals at Low Temperatures

摘要: We have examined the behavior of inelastic neutron scattering cross section ferromagnetic metals at temperature $T=0$ as a function vector When spin-orbit coupling is negligible, because invariance under rotation total spin system, there will be no K=0. In those for which hybridization with conduction band unimportant, this effect shown to occur K=a reciprocal-lattice ${\ensuremath{\tau}}_{n}$. It argued that, $\mathrm{K}\ensuremath{\ne}{\ensuremath{\tau}}_{n}$, should still interband wave, optical or Stoner-mode scattering, but only acoustic spin-wave magnetic bands sufficiently narrow nearly described by Heisenberg model. explicit calculation on simplified multiband model that wider-band metals, if exist and waves in addition an mode, it difficult observe Stoner modes. The conduction-band-$d$-band from $3d$-series examined: Its nickel small, its larger iron. concluded easier modes iron than metal further being nickel.
