摘要: Abstract An important problem in the evaluation of whole-body vibration is how shocks are to be included a comprehensive measure load on man. This calls for knowledge effect changes as function its duration. was purpose three experiments which subjects were exposed vertical sinusoidal varying The vibrations each presented together with same frequency but constant task adjust one until both gave rise discomfort towards end vibration. Experiment I dealt durations between 0·1 and 4 seconds 31·5 Hz intensities either 1·1 or 2·3 m/s2. In II used investigated interval 1–128 seconds. These two showed that subjective effects, expressed log m/s2, increases linearly exposure duration up 3–4 After this “critical time” continues increase, at much slower rate. III compared 6·3 respect increase 0·2 117 yielded growth II, whereas increased during whole thus no indication time”. Furthermore, low results those earlier studies partly different conclusions drawn.
