The safety of Mohs surgery: A prospective multicenter cohort study

摘要: Background Complications associated with Mohs surgery have been evaluated by single-surgeon studies. While these studies provide evidence for the safety of procedure, prospective, multicenter afford a higher level clinical and establish further profile in ambulatory setting. Objective This study was designed to prospectively evaluate major minor complications as well postoperative pain surgery. Methods A prospective cohort conducted evaluating rate treatment skin cancer using 1550 patients 1792 tumors. Follow-up obtained 1709 tumors treated (95.3%). Results No occurred during or reconstruction. total 44 (2.6%) primary study. On scale from 0 10, average peak 1.99. Limitations include variability practice patterns across sites 4.7% lost follow-up. Conclusion is performed high degree tolerated patients.
