摘要: There are currently only about 7,900 acres (3,200 ha) of remnant old-growth forest in Missouri, but public land management plans call for acreage to increase more than 200,000 (81,000 ha). To develop a better quantitative understanding the transitions that likely as current forests mature an state, we compared number characteristics measured two sites with values second-growth sites.
