摘要: Abstract This paper reviews research on somatostatin (SS) levels during infancy, pregnancy, and lactation. Neonates have elevated of circulating SS, which reach a peak at the age 3 months then decrease gradually, but remain first years life. SS response to feeding is not well developed in newborns. Elevated are also found especially late phases. Influence sucking maternal plasma varied could be related vagal stimulation, pH levels, basal levels. has been high concentrations milk. Milk-borne appears protected from proteolysis by milk components, apparently absorbed its intact form through duodenal wall effects indirect. More needed determine regulating role milk-borne contribution development.
