摘要: • The antiemetic possibilities of three drugs were studied in 554 surgical patients who divided into five groups by using a table random numbers. contratest group (a) received placebo ampuls identified only code letters; the test (b) chlorpromazine, (c) 100 mg. pentobarbital, (d) 150 and (e) dimenhydrinate. anesthesia was nitrous oxide—ether. Dimenhydrinate pentobarbital dosage ineffective. Pentobarbital chlorpromazine effectively reduced postoperative nausea, vomiting, retching, but they seriously lowered blood pressure delayed awakening; addition, caused confusion excitement. None four procedures tried can be recommended for routine use. Considerable protection against emetic symptoms afforded given with gastric tube place. Females had more than did males, no difference found comparison intraperitoneal extraperitoneal operations.
