摘要: Abstract Non-ionic surfactant vesicles (NSVs) were proposed for the pulmonary delivery of glucocorticoids such as beclomethasone dipropionate (BDP) treatment inflammatory lung diseases, e.g. asthma, chronic obstructive disease and various type fibrosis. The thin layer evaporation method followed by sonication was used to prepare small non-ionic containing dipropionate. Light scattering experiments showed that dipropionate-loaded larger than unloaded ones a significant ( P in vitro investigation vesicle tolerability, carrier-cell interaction, intracellular drug uptake drug-loaded anti-inflammatory activity. investigated NSVs did not show cytotoxic activity at all incubation times concentrations ranging from 0.01 1 μM. Confocal laser scanning microscopy vesicular carrier localization level cytoplasm compartment, where glucocorticoid receptor (target site) is localized. BDP-loaded elicited improvement HLF with respect free solution, drug/surfactant mixtures empty references. cells determined noticeable increase reducing secretion both constitutive interleukin-1β-stimulated nerve growth factor (as index) 68% 85%, respectively. Obtained data indicate represent promising tool system.
