NURSES' AND PATIENTS' VIEWPOINTS REGARDING QUALITY OF NURSING CARE IN THE TEACHING HOSPITALS OF SEMNAN UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

摘要: Introduction: Nursing care is an essential component of health services. Patient's and improvement depends on the quality nursing care. Nurses patients views as well their active participation for making decision have important role in services, so it must be regarded a principle. The purpose this research was to study nurses' patients' viewpoints regarding teaching hospital Semnan (Iran). Materials Methods: In descriptive-comparative study, 52 nurses 300 from internal, surgical, gynecology pediatric wards Fatemieh Amir Hospitals were selected by systematic sampling. assessed psychotic, social communicative aspects using Quality Patient Care Scale questioner. questioner had 41 questions with 3 answer choices (rarely, occasionally usually) that marked 1 3. Mean scores calculated all subjects then categorized undesirable (less than 1.5), low desirable (1.5-2.49) (2.5-5) groups. Results: 31.6 % 92.6% evaluated psychotic-social aspect desirable. desirability percent 24.7% 56.8% nurses. Thus, re-evaluation standards based client approach, choosing some strategies increase nurse-patient communication considering psycho-social needs seems necessity.
