摘要: Three solutions of EDTA—a 15% concentration the alkaline salt, a acid and 25% salt—were evaluated for smear layer removal in root canal systems. All were adjusted to pH 7.1 using either NaOH or HCl. When EDTA alternately used irrigation with 5.25% NaOCl, they completely removed middle coronal thirds preparations, but less effective apical third. None by themselves at removing any level. The tetrasodium HCl, is more cost performed equally as well commonly disodium salt.
