摘要: The admission pattern of under-65s during the first seven years Kidderminster's District General Hospital Psychiatric Department was compared with last mental hospital (Powick Hospital) which it superseded in July 1978, and its nearest (Barnsley Hall Hospital). In Kidderminster average length patient's stay half that at Barnsley Hall. There were more admissions per head population, lasted less than a week, patients over six to retrospective comparison Powick showed these differences not due superior community facilities since there no real change bed use development services; this supports view is bed-rock illness will always need in-patient care however comprehensive resources.
