摘要: Abstract Radiation therapists (RTs) need to engage more in research establish an evidence base for their daily practice. However, RTs world-wide conduct little themselves, although positive moves have been made some countries. This project is the second stage of a Delphi process aimed at prioritising RT areas interest. A questionnaire was constructed using responses previous which identified interests Australian RTs. Fifty-three Research Areas were from these and grouped into 12 categories such as "imaging radiation therapy", "symptom management", "accuracy patient positioning" "techniques/equipment". The survey sent all departments oncology, asked form interest groups discuss prioritise Areas. There 50% response rate (18 36 surveyed). highest ranked Category therapy". Six top 10 within Central practice ("imaging therapy"; management"; "techniques/equipment") other four broader ("diversification, recognition professional issues"; "management staff issues"). Patient Care also considered be area requiring research. prioritization provides useful list future RTs, will enable them decide whether ideas are high priority, spend less time deciding on relevant topic that needs investigation own workplaces.
