摘要: Abstract Radiography has been considered by some to be semi-professional since much of its knowledge base was built on research undertaken medical practitioners and physicists, rather than radiographers. Recent developments in the profession have contributed professionalism, but this paper argues that more needs done radiographers make truly ‘professional'. This includes, above all, skills, which are important continuing professional development, for clinical governance, evidence-based healthcare. Other thought necessary increase professionalism a culture openness participation with other professions, sharing good practice, general valuing education. Without these developments, radiography is unlikely develop as true profession.
