摘要: A hyperspectral (HS) imager is more effective than a multispectral (MS) in mineral discrimination, but spatial coverage of HS images limited comparison to that MS images. Thus Kruse and Perry have proposed method uses coincident imaging data extend mapping larger areas. We propose modified from the Perry’s (K&P) method. Though K&P derives MS-based endmember spectra by weighting HS-based with response functions sensor bands, obtains surface reflectance pixels at same positions selected as endmembers overlapping area. The validation study using airborne visible/infrared spectrometer advanced spaceborne thermal emission reflection radiometer over Cuprite Goldfield areas, Nevada, USA, demonstrates robust against spectral inconsistency between HS- MS-images caused calibration and/or atmospheric correction errors method, though sensitive co-registration
