Mature teratoma of the lateral ventricle: report of two cases.

摘要: In this paper, two cases with mature teratoma of the lateral ventricle are presented. Teratomas rare intracranial tumours and most common location is in midline pineal region. Lateral as site very rare. Between years 1975 1996, 120 were operated on for at University Ankara, Department Neurosurgery, only (% 1.6) histologically identified teratomas. It generally accepted that benign teratomas radioresistant total removal these results cure. If totally removed, done our cases, prognosis usually good.
