摘要: To test the hypothesis that angiotensin (ANG) II modulates arterial baroreflex control of heart rate (HR) in an age-dependent manner, various parameters governing HR were assessed before and after removal endogenously produced ANG by administration angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, captopril, to conscious, chronically instrumented lambs aged ~1 week (8 ± 1 days; n = 8) or ~6 weeks (46 5 8). After systolic, diastolic mean pressures decreased significantly from levels increased; however, effects greater 1- than 6-week-old lambs. In 1-week-old lambs, there was also a significant increase slope coefficient, decrease minimum point maximum gain. no captopril on any baroreflex. Therefore, we accept our conclude role modulating cardiovascular homeostasis appears be more predominant newborn later life. Experimental Physiology (2003) 88.6, 761–768.
