摘要: We studied 153 patients with non-metastatic chondrosarcoma of bone to determine the risk factors for survival and local tumour control. The minimum follow-up was five years; 52 had axial 101 appendicular tumours. Surgical treatment by amputation in 27 limb-preserving surgery 126. cumulative rate all patients, at 10 15 years, 70% 63%, respectively; 40 developed a recurrence between 3 87 months after 49 metastases. Local associated poor concomitant metastases but not those without. On multivariate analysis independent rates include extracompartmental spread, development high histological grade. Independent inadequate surgical margins size greater than cm. Location within body, type duration symptoms are no prognostic significance. excision an oncologically wide margin provides best prospect both cure control these patients.
