摘要: In 24 healthy volunteers finger pulse amplitude and heart rate (HR) were monitored by plethysmography thermal exchange from the compared before after smoking of a single cigarette. Thermal was measured using direct calorimeter consisting recording bath reference bath, both which filled with water at 18 degree C. The subject immersed two distal phalanx into bath. gradient between baths 4 min immersion maximal value heat loss to recorded. Decreases in (from 6.06 5.33 degrees C, P less than 0.05) 22.5 18.75 w.m-2, 0.01) plethysmographic wave 25.8 14.6 mm, increased HR 72 83 beats min-1) observed smokers. These changes not statistically significant non-smokers. Water correlated but subjects studied. present study shows good relationship vascular phenomena fingers. variations provide an adequate sensitive adjustment since effects cigarette can be detected PWA calorimetric measurements finger.
