摘要: In the early years of 21st century, clinicians and medical researchers often use term evidence-based medicine. Cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, therapy, we hear, must be based on best evidence to provide care. But is this approach new? And if it is, what have been doing until now? chapter, hope perspectives question, by examining medicine (EBM)—oncology, in particular—is not, looking at history clinical inquiry, up including current research. We also readers with a theoretical framework that will useful placing results new research into context existing knowledge, ultimate goal improving practice.
