摘要: Abstract The evaluation of life cycle greenhouse gas emissions from power generation with carbon capture and storage (CCS) is a critical factor in energy policy analysis. current paper examines three types fossil-fuel-based plants, namely supercritical pulverized coal (super-PC), natural combined (NGCC) integrated gasification (IGCC), without CCS. Results show that, for 90% CO 2 efficiency, GHG are reduced by 75–84% depending on what technology used. With less than 170 g/kWh, IGCC found to be favorable NGCC Sensitivity analysis reveals varying the efficiency transport distance has more pronounced effect changing length pipeline. Finally, it concluded study that while global warming potential when MEA-based employed, increase other air pollutants such as NO x NH 3 leads higher eutrophication acidification potentials.
