Liquid chromatographic determination of bromide after pre-column derivatization to 4-bromoacetanilide

摘要: Abstract A pre-column reaction of bromide with 2-iodosobenzoic acid and acetanilide reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography the 4-bromoacetanilide formed has permitted sensitive, selective accurate determination use an UV detector. Employing 4-N-acetylaminotoluene as internal standard, method been applied to determine in natural seawater, pharmaceutical formulations blood. As low 6 μg l −1 were assayed. Large amounts ions such chloride, nitrate, phosphate, ammonium sulphide, thiocyanate, sulphate, iodide, thiosulphate, cyanide nitrite can be tolerated. The is rapid, simple precise, a limit detection 0.2 ng bromide.
